Welcome to RamblingMiles, the personal photography website of Miles Wolstenholme, an independent hobbyist photographer based in the United Kingdom.

RamblingMiles is a non-commercial website created to share my photography, rambles and appreciation of the natural world, particularly the landscapes and wildlife of Cornwall, Devon and beyond.

Although this website is maintained as a personal project, the photographs and other original creative works published here remain protected by copyright.

This policy explains how my work may be viewed, shared and used.

Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all photographs, videos, original written content and other original creative works published on RamblingMiles are the intellectual property of Miles Wolstenholme.

My work is protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, together with applicable international copyright laws and agreements, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.

Copyright protection arises automatically when an original work is created. Registration, publication or the inclusion of a copyright notice is not required for that protection to exist.

Publishing a photograph on this website or on social media does not place it in the public domain or transfer its copyright to another person.

Social Media Content

Photographs, videos, reels, stories and other original content that I publish through official RamblingMiles social media accounts remain protected by copyright.

Publishing content on these platforms does not automatically make it freely available for reproduction, redistribution or reuse by third parties.

RamblingMiles is a personal, non-commercial photography website. Its purpose is to share photographs, experiences and an appreciation of the natural world rather than to operate as a photographic business.

Visitors are welcome to browse the website, enjoy the photographs, read the articles and share links to content.

However, personal or non-commercial use does not automatically mean that copyright permission is unnecessary.

I take the protection of my photographic work seriously.
